I have both the CDI 500 and 500 mp3 Players, I have talked to tech's and they told me to burn all my CD's at 8x and but I still have the same problem with them all.
1. Take a long time read CD's some CD's sometime
2. Some time will not read the CD at all
3. Will be playing and just stop playing
4. Some time will not eject CD
5. Beat keeper some time want work.
6. What is a good blank CD to use?

memorex isnt all that bad either

HHD Silver - I had this problem with my Denon Dual CD players but solved the problem using those cd's.

I tried the better HHD's "Gold" and they did not work so I stick with silver now.

Or even find any pure silver bottoms, a cheaper brand you might try are the pro discs

are you burning in mp3 or wave format??

Try wave, much more reliable. Mp3 codded in VBR can cause problems
