I have a CDI-300 MP3 System with a Q-D6 mixer and i have two Marathon DJ 1202 speakers. They are not powered but i wanted to know how much power my mixer already offers and if i have two buy a amplifier. And if i have to buy a amplifier how do i set it up. Does the amp convert the connection from 1/4 to RCA? And does it connect from the amps RCA impute to the RCA impute on my mixer?

I have a party soon so please answer fast!!!

Kindest Regards,

DJ ENVY Smiler

DJ Envy I suggest you do some research for the questions you have. This type of information is something that is part of the fundamentals.

Your mixer will not be able to power a non powered speaker you will need amp. To set up your system with the amp you will either connect your mixer to the amp with XLR or RCA cables. You will then connect your speakers to the amp. You will need to buy adapters to convert the input/output on your amp if you don't have the appropriate cables.

If you have a party soon I suggest you do a full system check. Put your whole system together and make sure you have all the gear you need to be successful.
