Hello,

I am trying to set-up Serato Scratch Live to work with two Radius 1000 decks. I have the Serato SSL MIDI Files however unsure how to set them up on Serato Scratch Live or to ensure that I have the Radius 1000 Set-up correct

Can anyone help

I'll see if I can find out for you, I am not a Serato user, I could help you with VDJ, or PCDJ. I'll have to research Serato.

I have been trying to get the Radius 1000 to work with various software types via the midi and the time code formats. the midi does not work at all. and the time code cd's are not read/transmitted well at all. lots of drops and time code degradation. when used with normal Cd's or mp3 cd's the devices will work ok for about an hour or two then there will be pauses in track searching, drops in audio and even have had them play only part of a track then freeze forcing a power cycle.

I am starting to worry about the quality of these cd decks and the purchase I have made. I do own 2 pioneer 800's MK II. I have used them in my test scenarios and they have not had any of the issues the radius 1000's have had. I was hoping American Audio had finally come forward with a great CDJ to share with us. the features and ideas behind them are awesome but the delivery and reliability has yet to be seen....

good luck with these and please share any good fortune you have had with them as well as what the conditions were and the methods use to achieve it.

I want to back and advocate American DJ products to my clients and others so let’s hope they can fix these issues so we can spread their good name with confidence
