I currently have an SDJ2 and a HC 8GB card, this is now more or less full, so baring in my the price of a 16gb or 32gb is probably more expensive than just buyin a 80GB external hard drive, has anyone tested the SDJ2 with an external drive though, is the performance the same, or better? i presume a hard drive would have a better transfer rate, or am i wrong?

Im really tempted to buy an 80GB drive, i can get one for around £30, also does it matter if the external drive is a portable usb powered drive, or would it require its own power source?
