I recently bought cdi 500 decks. 1 of them is working fine but the other has a problem and im wondering if any1 can help me with it. It switches on fine and powers up, but instantly, it starts to try and load a cd automatically, as you can here the drive winding, trying to pull in. It does this for a few seconds, then, once it realises that there is no cd being loaded,it comes up with "error" on the screen ,and does nothing,no cd can be put in or anything once this is showing on screen. It stays like this when the power is switched on. If i was to put a cd at the loader with the power off and switch it on it would load it and work fine, but if i was to remove the cd, it would go back to its old tricks, meaning i would have to keep switching it on and off just to load cds! please help, im worried it could be damaged or something, and is there something i can do to sort it? the manual doesnt have any sort of troubleshooter.
