Anyone having trouble using 4GB SD cards reliably? I keep having problems where my SDJ1 tends to lockup trying to read in the song off the card after awhile. The display just shows --:--:-- for the time while it says the song is playing, but nothing is happening. I am currently running firmware version 16.13.

Are you sure you aren't running it with a SDHC? Only the SDJ2 can use SDHC.

im having problems with the sdj2 it wont read the 4 gb cards

Are they 4GB SD or 4GB SDHC?
What brand?
What cards do you have that work Brand/size/type?

American audio is not reliable at all. despite what some few dj's actully report the sdj-1 was cut in short as they pushed creating the sdj-2.
The technicians at American Audio make excuses for all the problems and when you do exactly what they say they end up just saying it was a bad batch not a firmware or anyother problem. the technicians also tend to not fix the issues the first time you shipped it. I sent in my sdj-1 for the same problem twice! and it still is not fixed.

I have noticed a few weird hiccups but all the tracks are clean,
sometimes starts to play a track but stops before ending ????? and I can't go on with my job
I use SD Transcend 2GB
