hi, i have recently bought a ck-1000. the cue button on one of the decks is not functioning.. i have pulled it apart and have narrowed it down to the actual electrical component / button itself. Does anyone have any ideas of how i can fix this or where i can get another button?? i was considering switching it with the scratch button because i don't use that feature... but i would prefer not to have to do that.

I would think American Audio would have a parts department?? Cannot be very expensive??
Switching with the other button will definatly work, and it is free! I've had to do that on an old cd deck. Got a pic of the button/switch?? |

I am having trouble finding anything to do with american audio in Australia. i bought this unit over the internet, and the waranty doesnt cover Australia. i can't even find a contact number..
SOMEHOW when i was mucking around with it the button seemed to have fixed itself so i put it back together, (without taking a picture) however this wasnt the first time this has happened so im interested in getting another button for it... the button is a small square about 6 mm on each side, about 4mm thick and there is a small green circle that is the button. i think i will contact american audio US for more information on parts and any australian repairers however i dont know if they will be of any help. Thanks for your reply. |
